Inventory

The first single released from the ‘Double Bubble’ album was ‘Black Gold’, a track about going through struggles and emerging stronger. We wanted to visualise this idea simply by using oil in a shoot. We had our (our) Stereo MCs custom title font laser cut from black gloss perspex and photographed it rising from a pool of black oil. On the back of the sleeve is another photo of the seductive surface of the oil which is overprinted with the album’s circular motif in a spot gold.
