Inventory

A set of four record sleeves for the legendary producer Photek. Inspired by the organic soundscapes and electronic glitches of Photek’s music we devised a process to map 2D imagery onto randomly generated angular environments. The landscape photos were taken from our personal archive, each image referencing the tracks title. Working with 4D digital mapping and lighting we crunched and contorted the images along natural fault lines in their compositions to create grand but disturbed scenes, as if there was a glitch in the laws of physics. Each cover is coupled with a complimentary colour that is used for the reverse of the sleeves and vinyl labels.
