We were invited to contribute a notebook concept to a project by specialist French printers Imprimerie du Marais, a project which has since been nominated for a TDC award. Taking a typical grid found within
a notebook as a starting point we designed a series of spreads that ‘zoomed’ into the grid itself, into the ink and the paper, before zooming back out towards the back cover. The book was printed with two special Pantone colours and the cover printed with a clear varnish, gold foiling and a discreetly embossed logo from the printer.
