Back Yard Recordings were looking for a cost effective solution to pack a promo by the emerging American band Gossip. Working with a limited budget we designed rolls of packaging tape that contained all the information required for the record cover.This tape was then used to seal all of the record sleeves. The packaging tape was also used for decorating stage shows, sealing touring kit and is still being used by Back Yard Records to seal every box and parcel that leaves the office. For the single releases a still from the music video was re-photographed from an analogue studio monitor, printed onto uncoated board and again sealed with custom printed packaging tape.
