Dega Breaks ‘Wake Up’
We were asked by Dega Breaks to design their first and second single covers to be released as CD singles and on 7” vinyl. We created an image template that wrapped
around the front and half the back
of the sleeves and commissioned
a different photograph for
each release.
For the second single ‘Wake Up’, a custom logotype for the track and a custom typeface for the label copy were designed. The photograph, commissioned from Gustav Almestål, was taken in a pub on the Harrow Road in London, after we asked the band to take us to somewhere they hung out when they were writing the song. It was one of the seediest and filthiest
pubs we have ever been to. We stayed for a long time.
