Working with Mill Co., a co-operative creative agency, we named and branded a new renewable energy company. After researching the historical culture of wind, turbine technology, the investment opportunities presented and the current trend for green/eco named companies/products we presented
a concept based on the significance of colour within this sector; ‘Green-washing’ is a term describing the deceptive use of ‘green’ in PR/marketing. This term, coupled with the investment opportunity for businesses and the source of turbine power, led us to arrive at the strategically modest Blue
Energy Co. We designed a mark with an abstracted B & E based on convection current diagrams and set the logotype in the suitably named Avenir.
