BECK’S
To extend the Becks ‘Music Inspired Art’ print campaign and to create some buzz around it we conceived the idea of Live Billboards. Using
existing large scale outdoor landmark advertising sites we created artwork to be applied by hand directly onto a canvas printed only with a Becks bottle. The one
off artworks, one in London’s Old Street and one in Birmingham’s Bull Ring, were documented while being installed over a two day period.
The incredible Old Street artwork was designed by Jamie Brown and applied with spray paint. For the Birmingham site we created an artwork using 1500 coloured CDs each attached by hand with enough tolerance to allow for movement
in the wind to create a blanket of
light reflective moving discs. Commissioned through YCN
