Studio Profile
Inventory Studio is a London based design consultancy
founded by Robert Boon and David Lane in December 2008.
Inventory art direct and design projects for cultural and
commercial clients, consult brands on creative strategy,
conceive and curate exhibitions and events, run workshops,
give talks and design and produce editions and products.
Robert Boon, Director
Studied Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Arts,
London. He comes from a multidisciplinary background
and has worked in varied creative roles with a range of clients
from advertisers to artists before co-founding the studio.
He has taught and lectured at Camberwell College of Arts,
Central St Martins and The Architecture Association and
written pieces about design for various magazines and blogs.
In 2011 he was invited to join the judging panel for the
International Society of Typographic Designers.
David Lane, Director
Studied at Central St Martins College of Art and Design,
London. Working free lance he designed numerous books
and record sleeves before co-founding the studio. He
has lectured at Camberwell College of Art, The University
of Brighton, Kingston University, The London College of
Fashion and Central St Martins College of Art and Design
and written articles on design for various publications.
